Crunchy is the man
Hiding a sweet soft centre
Come away wi’ ye
For those who don't know, the man in this hardly-a-haiku, is none other than Paul Stewart. A man recently described by Sara Wilson as “a sweetheart with a crunchy exterior.” If you are not sure what I am on about, see her answer to my comment on her poem about the legend that is…
With thanks to Sara and Paul for the inspiration to write this 'poem'. BTW, I have written the three lines using English (UK) spelling, as Paul and I both reside in the UK. I believe they speak a version of English where Paul lives but, then again, where I live, I guess we speak a (Franco-Dutch-Nordic) version of Italian. Such is cultural history 😂 I hope Paul finds this funny, as I think I gave him my home address when I bought a copy of his book. Yikes!
