Cruel Love

Sad poetry above love

By ThePenArtistePublished 6 months ago 1 min read

In moon's soft glow, where shadows play,

Lies the grave where sorrow stays.

A woman rests, her heart now bound,

In earth's embrace, her love unfound.

Whispers echo through the night,

Tales of love's cruel, tragic bite.

Her heart, once full, now shattered, torn,

Her spirit wanders, love forlorn.

The wind sighs softly through the trees,

As if mourning her heart's unease.

Ghosts of memories, hauntingly near,

In the haunted grave, her pain sincere.

Yet in the darkness, a glimmer shines,

Hope, like stars, in gloom entwines.

Though love betrayed and torn apart,

Her spirit lingers, a broken heart.

Restless, she roams the midnight air,

A phantom seeking love's repair.

In the haunted grave, her presence weaves,

A tale of love that never leaves.
