Cringe

A Love Story

By Jessica VarvilPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

13 Was my year of cringe.

Writing secret love notes,

With “come hither” origami.

I first saw you on a walk.

You were playing Yu-gi-oh with your friends.

I’d rather it be with me.

I soon asked you out.

To my surprise,

You went with it.

We were soon inseparable for a few months.

To this day,

You remember me and I remember you.

I still remember your brown eyes,

And pure innocent love.
