Restraint has never been
A strong suit,
Not nestled in your deck,
Tossed to the side
Lost under booted foot.
Your whims are outspoken
Obsession yelled- screamed
Thought concealed, but plain
Illuminated for world-
A billboard of your creation-
You can't claim to conceal
Nor feel violated,
Isolated by own design
Painted picture to color
The other in red and black
Created a villain
With written word
to cower behind,
Hoping world would see
An imagined state
Of him and her-
Where one is saved
And the other sins,
Crushing spirit
Beneath pointed heel.
Lack of responsibility-
Seek ownership
Of the Forever Wandering
But refuse ownership
Of own reflection-
Still creature
In frozen frame-
Cry to me not
Erase apology
The chord is cut
Signed and sealed
With police tape.
