Cotton Candy

The sunsets are always so inviting,

Its watermelon pink with hazy purples!

And there’s that alluring orange that makes

Me want to be absorbed in the sky.

Melt inside the clouds and become

Caught in cotton candy skies.

A life of rose colored glasses,

And through the lenses life

Will resemble a Ghibli film:

Sunlight glimmering through the trees

As its petals fall to the ground.

Fallen leaves that will dance around my feet.

Familiars, preferably a cat, leading me to crystals!

Adventure. Love. Truth. Acceptance.

That is the sky I would like to be caught in;

A giant cotton candy sunset!
