I've been playing in the wind,
Running my fingers through
Its oldest memories and
Plucking the ripe ones.
.
Entertain me.
Bleed through your sunsets
Into the night and then weep
Into my open mouth.
.
I need to be nourished
By the universe's pain
Because if I don't taste it,
Then it might not exist.
.
I cannot stand the concept
Of a universe that doesn't suffer
When it so casually
Pulls me apart.
.
Does it hurt with me?
The needing to know starves me
Until nothing but cruelty
Remains.
.
And I find myself digging
My fingers into nebulas
With tears on my face
And blood on my hands.
.
Because it wasn't supposed to
Be like this, but here you are
With your secrets.
And here I am with my hunger.
