Never in a million years

Would the glowing balls of heavenly skies

Ever conspire together

For a surreal meeting

Upon the lighthouse

Over the silver ocean,

The way they would, tonight.

The stars, so impatient to constellate

Unendingly restless to glow in synchronicity

To meticulously conspire

To resonate in oneness with the stellifer inside you,

While you stay serenely lost in the midst of silver waters

Desperate, too, to fathom its glory

Halfway and hymnal!

Because you run out of words

Every fiber in you dances to the constant rhapsody

Of constellations as you feel them unwrap.

While gazing up to the galaxy

You ray towards the red rosette

It is smiling – six hues deeper tonight.

In gratitude, you lamp a hundred thousand sky lanterns

And tell them to shuffle into the universe

To kiss the stars

As the magic sublimates into reality, wave by wave.

You are now one with the burning -

Effulgent and overwhelmed,

Contained yet brimming

You are now one with the cosmic rhythms

In subtle confluence

Miles apart yet consumed in their entirety

Magic-drunk, spilling the contagious wine

Blotting the pathway as you bask through the labyrinth

Blitzed and bathing

Fathoming this twilight.

Your heartbeats melt into a million meteors

Gravitating flawless

As they wish upon you

From their interstellar rooftops!
