Compromise

We are all full of opinions

Our cups overflowing with thought

We will argue till our face turns blue

To get our point across

We all want our way to be the way

But this is life

not just mine and not just yours

This is where we all were placed for a purpose

We all have emotions that are fueling ourselves

We want to defend our thoughts

and emotions

We never want to be hurt

But sometimes being right means losing a friend

Or sometimes being right makes us look a fool

Sometimes we need to be wrong to see a new perspective on life

We may have to compromise so we can live together in harmony

this is life

it's messy

it's sloppy

it's imperfect

but it's ours

together
