Colors of a Summer Love

Blue skies, sand and seas

Her eyes are silent beauty glazed by rays

Orange embers of my mind burn with pain

As the journey leads to peace, better days

A purple storm sky deposits the rain

Blues speak the truth of a sadness lasting

Somber thoughts, they shield hopes, dreams and dim smiles

Grey clouds part and speak of sadness passing

Those skies bring joy, I hope they stay awhile

I awake, I feel ablaze with red rage

As the sun kisses the pores of my skin

The warmth I feel softens, bold, yellow cage

White light directs my path for love, not sin

From afar the eye will hide truth and lie

Forever we shall be to hope, dream, try
