Cold Day, Warm Comments

Inspired by and dedicated to Aspen Marie

By Paul StewartPublished 10 months ago Updated 10 months ago 1 min read

Today was cold

The heating bust

A pipe burst

I wonder

If the temperature

Is cold

There

Where you are

I saw a tree

You'd turn it

Into art

I think

So much

about how

experiences

Mistakes made

Lessons learned

Frame everything

I wonder

If I played

My favourite song

If you'd

Hear in it

Something different

To me

If colours

Truly are the same

Through our different

Lenses

I am grateful

For our transatlantic friendship

In the comments section

Reminded as I am

Of your humour,

Your humanity

And love

For the

Sacred

And profane

That sprays

From my mind.
