She met him in a small café downtown
Black converse stood before her
"Hello."
Emerald green eyes looked down at her
"How have you been?"
It was tousled brown hair that started the memories
"It’s been a long time."
There was a soft hum coming from black headphones
"Pile?" She asked
With a nod, he took a seat
"I've missed you."
It was the words they both needed to hear
She felt her heart quicken like it used to many years ago
Just like when they were back in high school
"I still love you."
With a smile, she ordered his favorite black coffee
While he handed her a cup of her favorite tea
Earl Grey with two packets of sugar
