Coffee

Poetry eMOTION

By Susannah Peareth-KinstonPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

So I guess I turned 42,

And whilst I thought of you

I wondered if you thought of me

While you grabbed your coffee?

Do you like it skinny or soy?

You wear trendy clothes for a boy

If I picked up the phone

And there was no dial tone

I think now I would be alright

As I have healed myself and no longer fright or flight

love poems

About the Creator

Susannah Peareth-Kinston

I am a mother of two boys, a librarian and a poet.

I hope to make some poetry connections here and maybe even have it as a side hustle. I do it for the cathartic release I get from writing it.

I write about love, friendship and ADHD.
