Cocaine

The White Powder Road....

The lure of the white powder

small, fluffy white rocks

euphoria for hours

Numbing all the pain

Endorphins fill the brain

Chasing the feeling

Addicted, going insane

sacrificing everything... to feel it again

Brain chemistry changes

Trading everything that matters

To feel good for a couple of hours

Little white lines

Little white lies

Draw them up

Snort them up

Chemistry takes over

Changes take over

Fight or flight...

White lines turns into

to the darkest night

The white powder road

Can't click your heels and go home

Can't take it back

Can't get it back

It's over...never again

Until you do it again

Fallen so far

Don't know who you are

Looking at your reflection

Don't like what you see

You forgot every promise you ever made to me

Lost all direction

Not who you want to be

Now it's fight or flight

Take it back or lose it all

Either give up

Or refuse to fall

I was once told....

If you don't quit you win

we can be forgiven of every sin

Now..... where to begin

The beginning comes at the end...

The end of this powder road

Click your heels and pray to come home

Facing fears

Giving this unbearable load

To the One True Light

The only way home

The answer to the fight

All your money falls out

It has all of the power

Addicted, insane

No relationship can remain the same

Sacrificing everything that ever meant anything

Cocaine drives me insane

When those you love

Have it on the brain
