Clinging to You

A Love That Won’t Let Go

By HillaryPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

I call your title into the night,

but quiet answers, cold and tight.

I reach for you in blurring dreams,

but wake alone to moonlit creases.

My hands still tremble, misplaced in discuss,

getting a handle on phantoms that are not there.

On the off chance that adore seem ask, in the event that cherish seem argue,

I'd stoop some time recently you, heart in require.

Do not turn absent, do not near the entryway,

do not take off hurting me any longer.

For indeed on the off chance that you blur from see,

I'll spend until the end of time chasing you.
