A free trial poem

No small thing this
Urge is physiological
all-out brawl
Well-worn paths
along the neuron trails
accustomed to fixed fights
and perfect scorecards
Feast-gorged and wine-drunk
on absolute power assumptions
whilst unholy triggers
grope its impulses
and whims
like the well-trained dogs they are
that roll over on command
Capitulate
And I am not
on some suicide rescue mission
to persuade through reason
for better health blah blah
I’m only here
to tell truths
then get the hell out
after I remind
of command structure
and how far you outrank
everyone and everything
by the rules of engagement
from minor skirmish
to full-scale conflict
Damn
Throw up some barricades
like you own
majority stock shares
Reconfigure neurotransmitters
through diet
exercise
meditation
and enough sex
to fell a multitude
to annihilate repeat attempts
to blast other sensory receptors
into oblivion
Secure your victory
Call last-minute meetings
Fact-finding meetings
Key Performance Indicator updates
weekly reviews
emergency and
‘memorandum-reminder-of-who-dafuc-is-in-charge’ meetings
Lean on
the Early Detection Team
hellur-hard
for being sloppy
Redesign the defense supplies layout
based on variable terrain
and execute
Execute
Execute with screaming banshee command authority
surpassing strength
of high carbon steel
Not vulnerable to suggestion
compromise or biology
Temptation
done played its last ace
Gonna lose
but smile on instinct
by way of saving face
But with no mercy whatsoever
spray it like hell with proper mace
Self-control got a sledgehammer
Smash to smithereens
and don’t dare leave a blingin’ trace

Thank you so much for reading my writing! It is appreciated more than you know.
This is my only entry for the Vocal "Instructions for a Feeling" Challenge. If you are 'on the fence' with action about excessive consumption of unhealthy foods, you can click the title and watch absolutely nothing happen, or you might just read my poem multiple times until you fall into a deep, restful sleep and can't crave anything for a while. It's a win-win!
