City

Everyone in here

By Jae QilinPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

everybody in the city is getting busy

whose to see who can see

where you look the windows sting like a bee

keep your book life without a wheeze

look and we'll see people watching you

people botching you

without ever knowing

who you are

what you do

not even what made you you

people don't have a clue

a young individual who did a little blue

and got quit literal with residual blue

look around all you see are either more people like me

people on medicinal tree

or

people on that eight

people going to bars

dosing bars

losing oxytocin with every jar

so just clear off your plate

keep it to a small palate

and leave your addiction in the sea

hear my plea

god will help you; please

this is just a tease

get on your knees

and pray that the God your underneath

will get you through your affliction

should've stayed away from the blues

now its your mind you'll lose

don't become a runner

because that would be a bummer

this might make you wonder

but its only just a blunder

pray to the god you're under

and you'll feel his thunder

reverberate through your vertebrate

with the sound in your soul

he will guide you to your goal

the god your under feel his thunder

and have your break

don't be a snake

merely abide your time

and the tide will flow right passed

and it'll all go into the past

so work for something that'll last

which isn't outside of your grasp

not a lot to have a blast

but just enough to get passed

stay out of the cuffs

quit acting tough

to insinuate more hate

when people merely hate

when we were meant to love

inspirational
