Chronic

A glimpse of colour...

Black

Darkness

Life of colour now diminished

Heavy clouds

Raindrops decorate the dry ground

Illness, fatigue, loss of self

Strength, resilience, Violet...blood pumping in my veins

It is returning, gently the Indigo lake water ripples

Blue eyes, the vibrancy of my stare off to the distance

The grass is so Green, I want to embrace the texture

My body is slowly rebirthing under the Yellow sun

As the sun moves and starts to lower

Orange claims the sky

Treatment, power, Red tulips peaking thru the soil

The rain subsides

The rainbow has arrived

Another day of chronic illness passes by...with a glimpse of colour...
