Tween rattlesnakes and grains of sand

I count bad choices on one hand

Fell for the lies, sold second chances

in redirected happenstances

When troubles unforgettable

live in the hypotheticals

Creating scenes of spectacle

that others deem acceptable

Rebuilding kingdoms after the fall

forgiving faults both big and small

Choosing to stay or find paradise

while heaven’s gates are open wide

Telling stories my heart needs to tell <3 life is a journey, not a competition
