Tiny hands that clutch and cling,
Eyes that sparkle, dreams take wing.
Laughter light, a tinkling chime,
Souls untouched by hands of time.
-
Sun-kissed cheeks and windblown hair,
Muddy knees that climb with flair.
Crayon skies and paper boats,
Whispered secrets, tiny throats.
-
Barefoot steps on dew-kissed grass,
Innocence in every glass.
Stories spun from moonlit beams,
Laughter dances, starlight gleams.
-
Curious minds that delve and seek,
Wisdom's well, from puddles peek.
Puddles deep, where dreams take root,
Childhood's magic, bearing fruit.
-
Tent of blankets, castles grand,
Fairy wings at your command.
Bubble clouds and dandelion wishes,
Fragile hearts, with gentle kisses.
-
Tears that fall like summer rain,
Sunlit smiles that ease the pain.
Tender hearts, so quick to break,
Yet mended whole, with just one cake.
-
Oh, children dear, with spirits free,
May your laughter echo wild and glee.
May wonder light your every day,
And childhood's magic light your way.
-
For in your eyes, the world's reborn,
With innocence, the sun is drawn.
Hold fast to dreams, with hands so tight,
And keep the child within your sight.
-
For children's hearts, a precious bloom,
Tender bud in life's soft room.
May love surround them, warm and bright,
These fleeting stars, that fill our night.
-
So cherish time, like grains of sand,
These tiny hands, that hold your hand.
For children's love, a whispered song,
Will keep their hearts forever young.

I'm not a fan of children but your poem was so beautifully written! I loved it!
