The days of endless wonder

In childhood days, life was bright,

Everything seemed to be just right,

Days stretched out, so carefree and long,

Filled with laughter, love, and song.

I'd wake up early, full of cheer,

Ready to face each day without fear,

Playing outside, under the sun,

Creating memories, one by one.

In those innocent, carefree years,

The world was small, yet full of cheers,

The smallest things could bring great joy,

Like a simple game with a favorite toy.

We played hide and seek and climbed up trees,

With scraped knees, we were happy as can be,

We chased after butterflies and bees,

All while feeling completely free.

Oh, how I long for those sweet days,

Where the world was filled with wonder and praise,

Though those days are now long gone,

The memories of them will forever live on.

And though we grow up and move away,

Those childhood days still make us sway,

To a time when everything was pure and true,

And life was simple, just me and you.
