Cheers

Ode to beers

Cheers!

Black or white, brown or butter, rainbow of gold

It’s always good but better when cold.

It lightens your heart and makes your tongue walk

So easily, soon it’s runnin’

Ideas through ideas your mind is scramblin’

Keep goin’

And you’ll be ramblin’

Ah, yes!

And one and two…And down it goes

Foam and bubbles can lead to troubles.

Delicious it makes a coward courageous

Drinking’s dangerous but so is living

Kids, teenagers, all the way to dying geezers,

Ales and porters, stouts or sours

There always be beers,

To make life sweeter and in death have some “Cheers!”
