the gleam of the time of day when the oily egg yolk gleans
The leftover bits of summer, a neon glow
It hits the light and creates a haze
A major role in the future sunset,
The first step of her light
Gives the impression of something brighter than the sun
Is it a chartreuse angel I behold?
As Job said: "Before I go, never to return, to a land of darkness and gloom [Sheol]"
But to step into shadow and understand the despair and agony
The sacrifice and device
Of heaven
Her bright, ocean-wide eyes, a towering spectacle
What aroma does her eternal color
Bring?
honey, saffron, and anise, deep red fruits
Fresh cut herbs, citrus and spice.
It's enveloped in a different perspective
Such a decision that lives on it's own merit
A grace that doesn't mean to show off its teeth like a ploy,
And the endearing melody of the
Chartreuse Angel-Eyes,
Captivates all
Like a deep breath
Letting out pure sunshine
And maple fall.
