Chai & Calm Cafe Vibes

Calm that starts with a cuppa,

The serene sounds of melody,

Gently easing through speakers,

A cafe setting,

Vibes I take in while

Waiting for my quick bite to arrive.

A respite,

Not quite away from a hectic life,

But away from the monotony of

Day to day boredom!

Away from activities

That are and feel necessary

But not fun. Not enriching.

So there I am,

Trying to find an hour or two

For myself

Time to kill.

Some grateful moments

A privilege not gifted to all

To reset

To realise

To create.

To string new words.

To put pen to paper.

To engulf myself in paragraphs, music, sustenance.

Fuel to carry me on

In an increasingly treacherous world.
