take a breath

than the voice inside

try to silence it

but it wont give you enough time

to reminisce it

it'll come back

within an hour or two

ready to prey

on the feeble who lay

love yourself

that's what we're told

but how so ?

when people could be so cold

reliant on the wrapping paper

and never of what's within

maybe

it's an unsaid sin

imagine what it is like

getting hit from hindsight;

ready to take on the world

but then the world takes you

it diminishes

and doesnt stop

wont ever finish with it

because this is

what we call,

social chemistry.

dont dare

to look indifferent

dont fit their preference ?

down goes the reverent

and up for human selfishness

putting down someone's child

like it was their right to borrow

no remorse

or hint of sorrow
