Prairie-fire in black and white

Free falling

While the world is name calling

Doing things that don't make sense

Every moment begs such suspense

Mesmerized by fantasy-charms

Slipping into strangers arms

Guilty but adventurous

Delighted but dangerous

Rough-and-tumble

Landing in calm, chaotic jungle

Feeling the peaceful, wicked rush

Hearing the waterfalls gush

Never to splat or burst

Wild animals, never to see the worst

Rubber body made for such a time as this

Enlivened soul, invigorated by the wind's kiss

Searing eyes feeling like mush

Heart is decorated with an Indian paintbrush

Are prayers falling on deaf ears?

Mental clock shifting gears

Letting the doubt disappear

The rest of life is free falling here
