Captivating

A Glimpse of the World

We explore the streets like overstocked aisles,

Browsing others while being browsed is our everyday,

Trying our best not to judge what we see on the outside,

For each one is their own unique collection of tales waiting to be told,

Adventure, tragedy, drama, romance, and more,

What from within captivates you?

Better still, what is captivated by you?

Most of my captivated crave my knowledge,

The rest, however, seek a wicked tale,

No matter the reason I am sought out,

I will continue to share so that others can grow,

Because the world is a library,

And like you,

I am a lone tattered book on the shelf of life
