I stand at a canyon and
contemplate its creation.
Is becoming an act of erosion?
Look at me in one year,
five years,
ten,
and my beauty will be conducive with hollowness.
Maybe then, it’ll be easier
for people to make a home in me.
Maybe then,
i’ll be easier to love.
