You shined like a beacon in the black abyss,
Calling out endlessly, and I answered.
I'll always answer. I promise I will.
I will forever,
And forever I'll be yours.
.
Your smile can set a spark in my heart.
I ache to see. You laugh with me
And it rings like bells in a voided heart
Giving me hope. Filling me up.
Making me yours.
.
You shine like lights in a vast, open city,
Glowing, illuminating,
Each night a premier, your light never dulling,
And every night, I hear you calling,
Calling me, calling me home.
.
I promise I'll answer. I always will.
I will forever,
And forever I'll be yours.
