Calling My Name In Silence

I’m Jaded

I know you all want some

My love ran out

I had just enough

To fill a cup

And now I have run dry

Got to go

On the fly!

___

I always say

I’ll find a way

To make you grow and shine

I’ll get to you later

But later never comes

It’s always when it’s past the date

Before you get your score

Trust me, you’ll be fine

If I just love you

I know you’ll be divine

If ever I am late

___

My darling plants

I’ll go

And fill my cup again

And finally

You’ll find your peace

Refreshment, atonement

Repeat in sin

Omg, this was so relatable! I sometimes feel so guilty but I just can't help it at times. I loved how you portrayed this situation in such a beautifully poetic way!

  • I love these words, wonderful

I think this is one of those poems of yours that describes two different instances or situations at once :)
