Callie's Limerick

There once was a cat from the farm

she really meant no harm

mostly, she was sweet

just wanted to eat

but when hungry, she lost all her charm!

************************************

My daughter took in Callie as an older kitten from a farm where we buy our hay. She lives indoors now and we feed her tasty cat food, but she is also a great hunter and loves to stalk the critters and bugs that get into our basement.

She also likes to be around her people when she chooses. She used to be quite aloof. She has turned into quite the socialite over the last couple of years. And she has decided hanging out on my desk when I'm trying to type is the best - especially leaping over my keyboard! Above is a rare picture of the princess actually still for a moment.
