butterfly

the return

By Amber GracePublished 3 months ago 1 min read

finally !

in another form you said goodbye

then you came back to me

i always knew that you could fly

but for you to see

it took some time

you had to leave

and re arrange and re align

and go get free

im sorry i tried - to rewind

when you had to - just- be

as a caterpillar i loved you

in your chrysalis i prayed for you

and then, when you flew

oh my pride

butterfly- do you recognize me?

are you staying? are you mine?

love poems
