Bury The Bad Days
‘Be Back Soon’ Poem Collection
Bury the bad days,
Look at the progress you’ve made,
You’ve been so brave,
Let me restore the smile that lights up your face.
I’ll hold you where you stand so you don’t fall from the weight,
There’s a lot that you need to say,
That I want you to say.
Resign from this self-hate,
It doesn’t matter how long it takes,
It’ll make its way; just as long as you stay,
Carry on being brave.
Bury the bad days,
You’ve held on, and I think you’re doing great!
Your mind has been on other things,
You stay awake because there are others in pain and you want to take it away.
When things go wrong, you seem just to take the blame,
Hours and hours of repeating yourself - thinking what you’re thinking,
Trying so hard not to make mistakes but mistakes are ok.
It’s time to bury the bad days,
You’re not responsible for the broken pieces, or everyone else’s pain.
Don’t love when you don’t have to,
I just don’t want it to hurt you.
Bury The Bad Days.
