So this is a poem about what happened on the day, the title refers to the fact that my flare melted and set fire to my gloves:

Burning Hands On The Wall

Two Thousand Years Ago

Hadrian Built A Wall

Fifteen Years Back, You Know

We Lit It Up For All

🔥🏛️🔥

From Wallsend To Bowness

We Lit The Night With Flares

Seventy Three Miles No Less

A Line Of Fire We Shared

🔥🏛️🔥

Torch Melted, Burned My Hands

That Was Part Of The Fun

Our Flare Burning So Grand

We Watched The Setting Sun

History Made For All
