Burn it down

burn it all down

By CadmaPublished 7 months ago Updated 7 months ago 1 min read

Burn it down

Like the files you wanted to

I dont care whose name is on it

Burn down every fool

Who cackled and cracked

At feeling above the rest

Burn the patriarchy where their balls nest

Perhaps your system is not right

I say Perhaps…as a tease

You and I both know it should crumble to its knees

Cream Cheese and pizza?

Are we being for real?!

Breeding grounds of innocence just to steal

Atrocious and unchecked

Longer than it should be

If it was so natural to have

Then you wouldn’t need violence

To oppress the matriarchy

We’re built for community

At least those of us who have not internalized misogyny

There’s an understanding of being left behind

If we don’t have community

Give a woman a seed

And with her water she will birth

A plentiful harvest

To feed your hunger and ease your thirst

Burn it down and release the names

I do not care who

Show us the oppressors

Show us the our smiling polite villains

Show us all those deep in filthy sin

Burn it down to the ash

And throw it all away

The system could collapse

Well…its not working anyway
