Buried In Silence
How does she Live each day

Buried in silence
The bones that break the heart that cries
she cannot see the two-faced lies
he feeds her nothing she eats his silence
calls it love endures the violence
She folds her soul into a drawer
walks through rooms that breathe no more
the clock forgets her name each night
the mirror turns away from light
She dreams in tears, in ocean and ill’
a house that leans on broken wills
his voice a knife too dull to cut
yet deep enough to leave her shut
No doors exist just painted gaps
she clings to hope that never claps
a shadow stitched behind her eyes
the truth too worn to recognise
He sleeps while ghosts crawl on her skin.
she counts regrets she keeps within
the walls don’t whisper they just stare,
and no one knows she isn’t there
She moves but not the way she did
each breath a stone each thought a lid
the years collect like dust on thread
not quite alive not wholly dead
