young hearts after hours

This is day 3 of my 50 poems inspired by songs in 50 days.

This was based on a memory from when I worked at a place called Drug Barn many years ago. The four of us danced to Browned Eyed Girl by Van Morrison when we were supposed to be straightening the shelves.

Katrina and I both had brown eyes and the boys were singing to us.

Finally realizing I need to start acting like the main character in my own life. Writing helps me figure out where I keep losing the plot and giving away my spotlight. My story is a big mix of drama, comedy, tragedy, thriller, and, horror.
