The colour you see when you look at your no longer bleeding wounds
The colour of dead leaves in fall
The colour of wood stain
The colour of chocolate
The colour of your natural hair, which you decide to dye different shades of blue, purple, and red
The colour of the rice that we agree on not eating
The colour of your eyes, to which society has deemed “mundane”
The colour society fails to see in your eyes time and time again
The colour of a bear
Twice as ferocious
Three times as hard to look away from
The colour of gems
The colour of Cassiterite
The colour of Cairngorm
The colour of Dravite
The colour that makes me think of you
