Brotherly Love
Dedicated to My Brother
After my brother’s hospital stay, I took a deep breath.
To reflect on those family members that called and visited him each day.
And to the great staff that convinced him that he was not undergoing a near-death
experience but rather suffering from symptoms considered to be child’s play,
compared to what the staff has seen from other patients.
And now that you are home, I hope you can feel the love from the family
and enjoy the joys of life, and work on the impatience
you feel whenever you are surrounded by your beautiful macrofamily.
Please stop wondering if they are there because they care.
And realize that everyone around you loves you to the moon and back.
Because without you, life for many of us would be empty and bare
So, sit back and get comfortable, and cut us some slack!
We all love you dearly!
