A broken heart, a heavy weight to bear,

An emptiness that fills the air,

A love once strong, now torn apart,

A pain that stabs like a sharpened dart.

The memories of love, now a distant past,

The happiness, the joy, they couldn't last,

A promise of forever, now broken and shattered,

Leaving the heart in pieces, bruised and battered.

The tears that fall, a never-ending stream,

A reminder of love that was just a dream,

A heart that once soared, now grounded,

The pain so real, it feels compounded.

The words that once brought comfort and bliss,

Now bring pain, a deep abyss,

The promises once made, now left unfulfilled,

The heart that once believed, now chilled.

The dreams that were woven with such care,

Now unravelled, leaving the heart bare,

The future that seemed so bright and clear,

Now a distant memory, a ghost to fear.

The longing for love, still strong and true,

But the fear of being hurt, anew,

The heart that once loved with abandon,

Now guarded, the emotions abandoned.

The pieces of the heart, scattered far and wide,

Impossible to put back, no matter how hard we tried,

The wounds that won't heal, a constant reminder,

Of love that was lost, a love that was kinder.

The memories that were shared, now haunting,

The pain that won't leave, a constant daunting,

The heart that once beat with such a strong rhythm,

Now fragile, the emotions hidden within.

The hope that once shone like a bright star,

Now lost, the love that once felt so bizarre,

The moments that once felt so pure,

Now a distant memory, a love that is no longer sure.

The emotions that once ran so deep,

Now hidden, afraid to take a leap,

The heart that once loved so whole,

Now broken, the emotions taking their toll.

The pain that won't leave, a constant presence,

The heart that once loved with such an essence,

The love that once brought such bliss,

Now lost, the memories hard to dismiss.

The tears that fall, a river of pain,

The heart that once loved, now broken, in vain,

The memories that once brought such joy,

Now haunting, the emotions they employ.

The love that once felt like a warm embrace,

Now cold, the memories too hard to erase,

The heart that once loved with such a passion,

Now empty, the emotions in ration.

The hope that once shone so bright,

Now fading, the emotions losing their might,

The heart that once loved with such a zeal,

Now broken, the pain too hard to deal.

The love that once felt like a dream,

Now lost, the pain too real, it seems,

The heart that once loved with such a fire,

Now broken, the emotions it can't inspire.

The hope that once burned like a flame,

Now gone, the heart never the same,

The love that once felt like a destiny,

Now lost, the emotions a constant test to see.

The memories that once brought such happiness,

Now a reminder of love, lost in its emptiness,

The heart that once loved with such a grace,

Now broken, the emotions too hard to face.

The tears that fall, a symbol of grief,

The heart that once loved, now beyond belief,

The love that once felt like a sweet embrace,

Now lost, the memories too hard to erase.

The pieces of the heart, now scattered far and wide,

The pain too real, too hard to hide,

The love that once felt like a gentle breeze,

Now gone, the memories too hard to appease.
