Broken hearts

In shadows deep, I wander alone,

A heart heavy, like a stone.

Lost in memories, of days long gone,

In silence, I mourn, just moving on.

Tears like rain, fall from my eyes,

Echoes of laughter, now silent cries.

Each day feels colder, without your touch,

In this empty world, I hurt so much.

Dreams shattered, like glass on the floor,

Hope fading, as I close the door.

Loneliness wraps around like a shroud,

In this vast emptiness, I am cowed.

But still, I cling to a flicker of light,

A distant beacon, in the darkest night.

Though sadness grips me, with its hold,

I'll find strength, as my story unfolds.
