BRIGHTEST BLUE

Brightest Blue

Heavy lifting on occasion

Lighter thoughts don’t make it through

Moments feeling all is lost

But not the memory of you

The sun and water

Remind all on the earth what they should do

Sadness the interruption of the past

In brightest blue

I see all the colors

in a rainbow made for you

I stand amazed at limitations

Of anyone

without the sensitivity

It takes to see it too

Separations at a skyline

Deepen colors at first view

An assessment of surroundings

Confirming if it’s true

Paint the shade of azure

On a door to somewhere new

As it’s opening and closing

Becomes the brightest blue
