Bricks
We are merely bricks
Simply part of the multilayered structure
In this cosmic manor called infinity
We are just elements and the masonry
Of a larger identity
Known as the Divine
Yes, each of us is important and invaluable
But ultimately, we are nothing more than
Building materials for God’s kingdom
Every brick is needed to maintain the
Strength and integrity of this holy temple
Every brick has a purpose
Every brick is needed
But we are not diamonds
We are not gemstones
We are not special stars in the sky
Our individuality is secondary
To what we are here to do
We are merely bricks
Placed perfectly in the Universe
Held together by the mortar of God’s grace
