Breaking your heart

You have to break it to heal

It sounds a little strange,

But did you know,

Every time your heart breaks,

Even when you’re low,

Even at the bottom,

When you hit the earth,

That even when you’re tired,

And love drains your self worth,

That each time your heart breaks,

It becomes a little better,

That all these experiences,

When your eyes are getting wetter,

When taken for granted,

When being pushed aside,

That even when you’re breaking,

And you just can’t seem to rise,

That every time this happens,

That you heal a wound so deep,

That your heart is breaking,

And you’re allowing it to weep,

Because each and every moment,

That you feel pain from the blade,

It heals brighter and lighter,

The scars can start to fade,

Gaining powerful glow back,

Into its beautiful form,

Bringing back the life force,

Allowing it to transform,

Instead of beating hard,

And being like a stone,

It transforms beating gold dew,

You’ll never be alone,

Allowing you to feel much more,

Inside of you you see,

Everything is a test,

Sent to you and me,

So heal it fully and wisely,

So you don’t have to repeat,

If you don’t listen and learn,

instead you admit defeat,

If not you repeat the cycle,

Maybe until you drown,

You can’t get above the tide,

You can’t replace your crown,

Once you learn it all,

The vision is clear to me,

That you heal your heart completely,

For the world to see,

So don’t delay do your work,

Time is so precious,

To live in pain and agony,

Which can turn you vicious,

If you do you’ll see,

That your heart is a wonder

That gives you power,

Makes you feel like thunder,

It takes work and self care,

in life everything does,

When healed you feel elated,

Totally in a buzz,

So I ask you to try this task at hand,

Allow yourself to heal your heart,

Then you’ll completely understand ❤️
