Break Away

Fierce words swarm all around

Confidence shatters all over the ground

Worry and pain seep through my bones

Skin crawls as wounds are sewn

Break away from one's stronghold

Fight against all worthless lies told

Breaking down, I've lost more control

How could someone go so low?

Never ending stress as pain still grows

Screaming and crying but no one ever knows

No sound is release from my cold life

Every emotion stretches towards that knife

Cutting once but nothing ceases

Stormy skies shatter to pieces

Faith is shared among many people

But no soul gathers under that steeple
