Brains and Bodies

How do other brains work? Do they circle around situations like vultures around a particularly messy carrion feast?

How do other brains work?

Do they circle around situations like vultures around a particularly messy carrion feast?

Do they question their purpose?

Do they question anything?

Do they feel guilt over joy because of the atrocities in exsistence, even in this moment?

Do they swing from despair to ecstasy like a childhood seesaw?

Do they crave connection more than anything but fear vulnerability to their core?

How do other bodies work?

Do they wake from sleep to ache til sleep?

Do they forget what relaxation means?

Do they clench, refuse to soften, remain tense and boney?

Do they yearn for touch but shudder at its gifting?

Do they, when caught side-long in glass, look like strangers or familiars?

Do they work?

This one does sometimes,

At least there's that.

But

How do others work?
