Poems never read
Blue-touched lips, as cold as ice
Forever nineteen.
Dedicated to my twin, Sally, who passed away on December 26th, 2005.
I always get maudlin around this time of year, especially as we draw closer to the date that I will have lived longer without my other-half than the number of years I had her in my life. I have my own traditions to remember her, ones that i imagine I'll keep all of my life, but that doesn't make it any easier.
This Cristmas, forget the gifts and commercialism, and take a moment to hold your loved ones close.
