An alien from the cosmos, wide-eyed and new,
Landed on Earth, eager to learn and pursue,
The wonders that hide beneath skies so blue,
I chose one thing to introduce, something true.
A field of sunflowers, a radiant array,
Their golden faces dancing in the sun's bright sway,
Stretching toward the heavens in their own special way,
I led the alien there on that glorious day.
Their petals like sunshine, a vibrant, joyous sight,
They swayed in the breeze, pure delight,
The alien blinked, their curiosity alight,
At this Earthly spectacle, a sheer natural flight.
With a gentle touch, they caressed a flower's face,
Feeling the velvet softness, in a tranquil embrace,
And as they did, a smile crossed their alien grace,
For beauty transcends borders, any time or space.
In their eyes, I saw wonder, I saw understanding,
As they beheld this Earth's extraordinary branding,
A symbol of nature's art, so demanding,
Of our love for the world, our Earth, commanding.
In sunflowers, we found common ground,
A connection profound, in a world so round,
Through laughter and awe, we made our sound,
With an alien friend, our Earth was newly crowned.
So, in sunflowers' dance, our friendship took flight,
An alien's first glimpse of Earth, a sight so bright,
In their journey of discovery, they found the light,
A world of wonders, where day turns to night.
