(lust)

does every man’s heart

lust for the blood

of little children,

bright eyes

fair maidens,

golden hair

and brave men?

is every man able

to drive a bullet

into breathing life

to turn land

into a wasteland

of rotting flesh?

they say it is all

in the name of peace

so their cruelty

does not keep them up

in the night.

chosen ones

never asked

to be chosen

it is a mark of Cain

on their foreheads

because they were

born

hated

for being.

land belongs to

the one who conquers.

humanity

is only worthy

of being called

human

if they love

because we are all the same.

Sadly, some humans are worse than animals. Your poem was so deep!
