With his hand stretched out. . .

She ran back to him

Over and over again

Believing him and his lies

He manipulated her innocent heart

So she fell deeper and deeper

Into an endless abyss

Too far to climb out on her own

She was lost to the pain and suffering

Just a shell of what she used to be

But this was the love she knew

A love full of heartache and misery

Until one came around

With his hand stretched out

He showed her a love she never fathomed

Loving her and the scars she carried

Giving her his whole heart and more

He waited and waited for her

Until the day she had enough strength

So when that day comes

She will take his hand

And leave her black hole behind
