Black doesn't mean bad

In our world where insensibility hangs strong,

The Blacks sail under the weight of abuses.

But we say, Black doesn't mean bad.

But a brilliant color in every way.

From ancient sands to contemporary streets,

Black Africans stand, strong and bold,

their excellence an unforgettable melody,

where bias and scorn fuse.

Stories of change, strength, and resilience that last,

beneath the dark skin, stories untold.

As a remembrance of the past, each shade,

A landmark of tenacity through time.

Through hundreds of years of preliminaries persevered,

Their soul, steady, unperturbed, For Black, doesn’t mean bad,

But strength, courage, and resilience, of every sort.

To the dark skin who faces the derisive gaze,

Know your value, in horde ways,

For your melanin, a crown you wear,

A demonstration of magnificence so rare.

This verse to you, with love, I send,

Let it transcend in solidarity,

For black doesn't mean bad, we claim

But in your name, is dignity and pride.
